BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, - November 4, 2005 - TranSwitch Corporation (NASDAQ: TXCC) and Galazar Networks® Inc., today announced that they have reached an agreement in principle to settle the litigation currently pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts as Civil Action No. 03 10228 NG.

Under the confidential settlement agreement, all outstanding claims and counterclaims in the Boston action will be dismissed without prejudice.
