RoHS (Restriction on use of Hazardous Substances) is a European Union (EU) Directive that requires manufacturers to abide by legislation on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment if the equipment they produce is ultimately imported into any EU member state.

Galazar’s complete product line is available immediately in RoHS-5 compliant form and full RoHS-6 compliant form. This allows customers with a single circuit design to manufacture their products for markets using a lead-free solder process or a lead based solder process.
