Galazar Networks Inc.'s management team has the experience and track record in building network infrastructure businesses from start-up to post IPO status. They have held key roles with Nortel Networks, Lucent Technologies, Cisco Systems, Alcatel, Newbridge Networks, and Fujitsu. They have been responsible for various teams, including sales, marketing, finance, business development, investor relations, partner management, customer support, applications engineering, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions.The Galazar Networks team has experience that delivered over 80 successful devices and leading equipment products to market.

Richard Deboer, Chief Executive Officer
Richard Deboer is responsible for the strategic direction of the company, customer relationships, investor relationships and business development. Prior to Galazar Networks, Richard held key executive and engineering positions at Agere Systems, Fujitsu, Nortel Networks, Sybarus Technologies, and Lucent Technologies.
Scott Helmer, Chief Financial Officer
Scott oversees all finance and accounting processes at Galazar Networks. This includes financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash-flow management, and financial control. Prior to joining Galazar, Scott held executive roles at Newbridge Networks, Alcatel Canada, and ActivCard.
Bela Incze, Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Bela Incze is responsible for Galazar's worldwide sales organization, customer relationships and sales channel business partners. Prior to joining Galazar, Bela served as VP Worldwide Sales at Wintegra, and was Regional Account Manager at both Motorola Semiconductor (now Freescale) and PMC-Sierra.
David Kirk, Vice President, Marketing
David Kirk is responsible for Galazar's Marketing organization. Prior to leading Galazar's marketing organization, David was responsible for managing multiple Galazar product lines. Prior to Galazar, David held a variety of senior roles in system architecture, ASIC design, software design, and carrier ethernet deployment while at Nortel Networks .
Cliff Townsend, Vice President, Business Development
Cliff Townsend is responsible for Galazar's business development activities. Prior to business development, Cliff led Galazar's marketing and applications teams. Prior to joining Galazar, Cliff held a variety of senior engineering and business roles at large and small telecommunication companies such as Nortel Networks, Skystone Systems, Cisco Systems, and Innovance Networks.
Michel Ranger, Executive Vice President
Michel Ranger is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations, marketing communications, investor relations, fundraising and legal. Prior to Galazar Networks, Michel held key management positions with Austin Ventures' EIR program, Entrust, and Nortel Networks.
Theressa Brown, Operations
Theressa is responsible for the corporate operations organization. This includes the development of processes and systems to enable Galazar to meet customer demand and manage Galazar's supply chain. Prior to Galazar, Theressa held roles in Product Management, Program Management, and Supply Chain Management with organizations such as Nortel, Huber+Suhner, and Innovance Networks.
Nizar Rida, Vice President of Engineering
Nizar Rida is responsible for all research and development activities and the technical direction of the company. Prior to Galazar Networks, Nizar held key executive and engineering positions at several firms including Agere Systems, Lucent Technologies, Rockwell International (Conexant), Nortel Networks, Philips, and Sybarus Technologies.
Michelle Landriault, Quality
Michelle Landriault is the Galazar Networks' quality champion, responsible for implementing the quality policies and objectives during all phases of the product lifecycle, including a strategic plan for continuous process improvement. Prior to joining Galazar Networks, she has held leadership roles at Nortel Networks in various aspects of the product life cycle.
