Overview
Galazar Networks Inc. is a systems semiconductor and software supplier focused on Carrier Grade Ethernet over SONET/SDH (EoS), Ethernet over PDH (EoPDH) in addition to Telecom-PDH (DS1/E1, DS3/E3), and SAN services. Galazar's products are designed into communications products that are deployed by carriers worldwide.  

Customer focus, and the ability to execute are the key skills that have accelerated Galazar Networks' growth. Since inception, the team has built a series of proprietary processes, tools and system automation that simplify product definition and development in order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of its engineering, test, manufacturing, support, sales and marketing teams.

Products
Galazar Networks' product portfolio delivers industry-leading, system scale integration of telecom and datacom services. Galazar's products support SONET/SDH, Telecom-PDH (DS3/E3 and DS1/E1), and data services (private line, Ethernet, packet and SAN). Packet and Ethernet over SONET/SDH (EoS) capability is provided through GFP, LAPS and PPP encapsulations, and the Virtual Concatenation (VC) of both High Order and Low Order paths, with Link Capacity Adjustment Scheme (LCAS). Supporting High Order and Low Order SONET/SDH linear and ring networks, and packet based access networks such as Resilient Packet Ring (RPR), Galazar's products are ideal for Ethernet, SAN and Multi-Service CPE/CLE platforms as well as EoS and Packet over SONET/SDH (PoS) line cards for routers and ADMs.

Galazar Networks' family of highly integrated products offers low power, flexible solutions for network equipment vendors. This enabling hardware and software technology allows equipment vendors to deliver next generation multi-service aggregation platforms and network access equipment in accelerated timeframes, and with lower development costs.

Team
Galazar Networks' team has the experience and track record in building network infrastructure businesses from start-up to post IPO status. Team members have held key roles with Nortel Networks, Lucent Technologies, Cisco Systems, Newbridge Networks, Alcatel, and Fujitsu, with broad responsibilities including, sales, marketing, business development, finance, investor relations, partner management, customer support, applications engineering, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions. The Galazar Networks team has delivered over 80 successful semiconductor devices and leading equipment products to market that now carry the majority of today's optical traffic.
